https://greeninfrastructure.net happened to be open while I was reading about the Blankenberge cleanup, and the beach setting made me think about how much of what gets collected there started upstream in drainage systems and rivers. Two hours on a Saturday is a small window, but pairing it with awareness of where the waste originates feels like it could stretch the impact further. I've joined similar cleanups before and always come away noticing the smaller fragments more than the big obvious items.
