Based in the Dominican Republic, WFO The Americas (WFOA) operates across both North and South America, as well as the Caribbean.

Waste Free Oceans operates in regions of marine litter hotspots and poor levels of waste management.
WFO The Americas currently works in the following regions:
  • Caribbean (Dominican Republic)
  • Central America
  • South America
As well as performing marine clean-ups, advocate policy and form partnerships to recycle and reuse marine litter, WFOA also helps to develop and promote sustainable development within local communities.
By providing technical assistance and education, WFOA empowers communities to lead in their development, improving their ability to collect, sort and recycle waste and, in the process, improve their quality of life and ecosystem health.
